According to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, President Joe Biden is thinking about government action on gun control in the wake of the Colorado shooting the killed 10.
“We are considering a range of levers, including working through legislation, including executive action,” Psaki informed reporters. “That has been under discussion and will continue to be under discussion.”Biden said in remarks following the shooting “we can ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines in this country once again.
”“These are bills that received votes with each Republicans and Democrats in the House. This is not and should not be a partisan problem. This is an American issue that will save lives, American lives. And we need to act. We should also ban assault weapons in the process,” he added.Police identified Ahmad Al Issa, 21, as the suspect in Colorado shooting.
